Peacock Pose is an Arm Balance that requires focus, mindfulness and a strong core. After practicing some Cat and Cow warm ups or doing a Sun Salutation A your body should be ready to try this fun Arm Balance. This pose is kind of like Crow Pose except your elbows will be resting on your hips and your legs are pointing straight out.
As you can see from the photo above. Meddy has a really strong core that allows him to float his legs out to the back. Try just seeing if you can hold this for 3 seconds at a time. Lifting your feet and legs up off the ground going for the full variation of this pose. You can also practice lifting one leg off the ground at a time until you get enough strength in your core, quads and hamstrings. If your elbows keep popping or sliding out you can get a Yoga Strap and use it to keep your elbows together.
