Meddy Teddy Is the Most Adorable Way to Teach Your Kids Yoga
You practiced yoga throughout your pregnancy and even got your baby into an assisted tree pose six months in. And now that your tot is walking around like an actual little person, it’s time she met Meddy Teddy.
Meddy Teddy is a soft, cuddly teddy bear that has a flexible internal frame that allows him to bend into lots of different (and totally adorable) yoga positions. All you have to do is twist his nubby little limbs to mimic whatever pose mommy’s holding so little Lucy can follow along.
A study in the Journal of Children’s Services shows that, besides being another fun activity to do with your kid, practicing yoga from an early age can help foster mind-body awareness and physical fitness. So yeah, namaste in this downward-facing dog—err, bear pose a little longer.
