A yoga-loving teddy bear that was created to help children achieve inner zen is finding fame on social media thanks to its ability to contort its body like a skilled yogi.
The Meddy Teddy may look like your average bear at first, but the toy is designed to hold complicated yoga poses, from headstands to downward dog.
And while Meddy Teddy is sure to bring the love of yoga to many children, the bear has also found its own cult following on Instagram.
More than 11,000 people already follow the toy's Instagram page — even though the $29.95 bear is still in its initial launch phase and won't be shipped to customers until early July.
However, fans have fallen in love with the bear, which was designed to help parents to teach their kids about mindfulness and a peacefulness in a way that is fun.
Meddy Teddy's inspirational Instagram page is filled with photos of the toy meditating, doing yoga on the beach, and practicing its poses with a partner.
Other images see the bear doing yoga alongside the children it is meant to inspire, and one particularly precious image sees Meddy Teddy posed next to a baby, who is sitting in Lotus position.

'Start them young!' reads the caption.
According to studies, yoga and mindfulness have been shown to improve both physical and mental health in school-age children, and Meddy Teddy's Instagram page features plenty of inspirational quotes, which are called 'Meddy's Mindful Moments'.
And whether the bear is quoting the Dalai lama or Buddist monk Thich Nhat Hanh, the messages are meant to bring self-acceptance and a sense of peace to the reader.
The lovable bear even sports its own wildly patterned leggings (which are not yet available for purchase), but it's the toy's lessons about being mindful that are meant to spark change in future generations.
Peaceful moment: Meddy Teddy can hold any yoga pose, and the bear's Instagram page is filled with photos of it stretching by the beach.

When he returned to Los Angeles, Thom was excited to tell his younger brothers Tim and Mike his idea, explaining that he saw the bendable bear named Meddy Teddy in a vision.
While Thom returned to his deep meditation, his mother Debbie created a bendable bear in white pants that could hold any yoga pose and serve as an instruction guide for children.
The family found Meddy Teddy so inspiring, they found themselves expanding upon Thom's idea.

Mike came up with the idea for 'Meddytations' — short meditations for kids — and Tim wrote a 32 page children's book entitled Meddy Teddy Learns Lotus.
A recent Meddytation featured on the bear's Instagram page advises readers to choose any yoga pose of their liking and keep a smile on their face for one minute.
'Happiness is a choice. Your happiness can not come to you, it can only come from you. Go within and #findyourinnerteddy,' reads the picture's caption.
Unsurprisingly, the bear is already popular with influential yoga moms on social media, including Summer Perez, Kristin McGee, and Karissa from The Giving Mom.
Summer frequently shares photos of herself practicing yoga with her two children — and their beloved Meddy Teddy.
